Mayo Wills Week nets 25,000 Euros for local charities

The Mayo Solicitors’ Bar Association, who organised Wills Week between February 25 and 29, have announced that over 25,000 euros was raised for Mayo charities.

The public were encouraged to attend their local solicitor to make a will during that period.

Mayo solicitors did not charge for their services during Wills Week. Instead their clients were requested to donate 100 euros to a Mayo-based charity of the client’s own choice.

The Mayo Solicitors’ Bar Association is pleased to confirm that Wills Week was a great success. Many people availed of this opportunity to make a will or update a previous one, then donated 100 euros to their favourite charity in Mayo.
