Local law firm celebrates record turnover

Despite current anxieties about recession, a Cradley Heath law firm has started its new financial year with a record turnover for the first quarter.

George Green LLP Solicitors, based on High Street, increased turnover from April to June 2008 by over 30 per cent more than the same period last year.

Senior partner Richard Cliff said increased levels of corporate, property, dispute resolution and private client work had contributed to the firm’s record performance, attracting clients not just from the Midlands, but also from the rest of the UK and overseas.

He added: “Our Black Country base allows us to offer value for money advice, and the amount and quality of work we are doing provides us with a strong base for continuing expansion.”

Established in 1897, George Green LLP Solicitors was last year named by the Legal 500 as the top corporate and commercial law firm in the West Midlands for the seventh year in succession.
