The principal theme is the development of the market for expert opinion and the pitfalls and rewards of the work our members do. It will cover many crucial areas, and will serve to counteract the misunderstanding and ignorance of the nature of specialised opinion evidence, and of the role of the expert witness, which is so often displayed by the media, and also sometimes by instructing solicitors.
